Above are photos of our breadoven which we’re both keen to get up and running - no idea how to begin but with the power of the internet and Julia Child’s “Mastering the Art of French Cooking” behind us, it won’t be long before we’re experts I’m sure!
Our first lunch with the neighbours is this coming Friday and although the breadoven won't be operational by then, I'm not too sad to have to choose some lovely bread from one of the many 'boulangeries' in our vicinity. Jury's out on the actual meal but I'm leaning towards trying Julia Child's Chicken Fricassee - they're bringing dessert - an update will be provided once we've had the meal, spoken some french and made plans for the next one......!
